Local Couple Gifted $30K Wedding at Hotel Goodwin Through Community-Powered Event, Project Pay it ForWED

In October, Geronimo Hospitality Group hosted the inaugural Project Pay it ForWed on The Rooftop at Hotel Goodwin. The event brought together local vendors, hospitality professionals, and community members to gift an all-expenses-paid wedding - valued at over $30,000 - to one deserving local couple.

Selected for their compassion and resilience, Jessica Campbell, a nurse, and Larry Walton, a firefighter, were nominated for their unwavering commitment to others and their devotion to their daughter, who lives with a rare medical condition requiring ongoing treatment and travel.

Their love story is the embodiment of what Pay it ForWed is all about: honoring real people who give everything to their families, communities, and professions, and rarely ask for anything in return. ​
