Weddings often come wrapped in expectations. The perfect venue, the gourmet menu, the big budget. But when you strip all that away, what makes a wedding truly meaningful has nothing to do with how much you spend and everything to do with how deeply it’s felt.


At Hotel Goodwin, we’ve seen it all. Celebrations with all the bells and whistles. Intimate ceremonies with just a few chairs and two people choosing each other. And every time, the most unforgettable moments are the ones that money can’t buy. It’s the story behind the love, the look shared at the altar, and the time spent surrounded by loved ones that matter most.


That’s why we created Project Pay it ForWed.

We believe every couple deserves the chance to celebrate their love, no matter what life has thrown their way. This initiative is our way of giving back, especially to those who’ve experienced financial hardship or personal challenges that put their wedding dreams on hold.


One deserving couple will receive a gifted wedding at Hotel Goodwin, valued at over $30,000. The day includes:

  • A rooftop ceremony at The Rooftop at Hotel Goodwin in downtown Beloit, WI

  • Catering by Velvet Buffalo

  • Photography, videography, florals, planning, a dress, cake, DJ, and more


The wedding will take place on October 12, 2025.

We’re looking for a couple who’s faced real challenges but still holds tight to love. Maybe they gave up their wedding to care for family. Maybe they’re frontline workers who never got their moment. Maybe they’ve simply had too many reasons to wait.
